What a Wonderful World!

How quickly time flies as as another week has flown by!  This week we got ready for Easter.  Carolyn let the girls pick out an early gift.  Cambree fell in love with a kids wood set.  She was so excited to put together a Styrofoam object!  Cal was so patient with her, and the wood! They managed to make a hinged box!  If Cams would have had her way, they would have made a helicopter, like the box showed! Funny, there wasn't any directions or measurements inside!  I guess the hinged box will have to do!

Makyah picked out a new comforter and sheet set for her bed.  I liked what we already had, but at least what she picked matched her pink and black room.  I guess she should have some say, after all it is her bedroom, not mine:)  Thanks Carolyn.
This week Makyah had her spring sing.  It was all about the earth and recycling.  Her school is even collecting money to adopt a dolphin.  Makyah did a great job, and she had a part doing hand motions to the song, its a wonderful world!  Now if she would have only looked excited! Well she is part Lokken, what do I expect!

Here she is patiently waiting for the 2nd graders turn to sing.

And then it was time for her part!
Well pressure was off after the program when she could hang with her friends!
This weekend we did a lot of preparing for the thrift sale.  I can already smell another vacation if it all sells.  It will be worth all the work right?!  I also managed to remove the caulk and replace it in the bathtub, do 2 weeks of laundry, scrub the house and shop for Easter!  Yes a very productive weekend!
On Sunday I promised the girls we would decorate eggs.  They had a lot of fun and we made 2 dozen  eggs!  I guess we will be eating a lot of egg salad this week!
Decorating...
Dipping...
and Marbleizing!

Cams and I found a great clearance deal on WOODY PJ's and of course she convinced me that she needed them. She lived in them all weekend, and added her own accessories as well. I guess they were worth the 3 bucks!
Well that is all that is new around here.  I can't believe how lucky I am to be able to watch the girls grow.  They have truly blossomed into 2 smart, well behaved, fun and creative girls.  I think to myself... "What a Wonderful World".  Have a great Easter!  Love, The Lokkens
