What a busy week and weekend! The good news it is starting to feel like Spring! Cambree started T-ball this week. She told me she was nervous and didn't like us watching, but she did great! She is still hitting left handed and fielding right handed! She even got to practice playing 1st base and even made an out:) Her coach is super nice and he makes it fun for the kids. She is one of two girls on the team!
Hitting and running!
On Tuesday it was Carolyn's 70th Birthday. We we so busy we didn't get to celebrate with her until Wednesday. Makyah and Cambree made her a painting and we wrote 70 fun things that they have done together. Happy Birthday Carolyn!
On Tuesday Makyah performed at an old folks home in Altoona. The girls didn't have much space but they still had lots of fun!
On Sunday Makyah performed again at the Children's Expo at the indoor sports center. It is always fun to see how far the girls have come all year. Makyah does a great job and simply loves to dance. After all she is going to be a famous professional dancer!
Saturday during the day we celebrated a friends 40th Birthday, where Cambree found some boys that loved Mario as much as she does. Saturday night the girls stayed at Carolyn's, as we had the Curling Club's fundraiser and reverse raffle. We didn't win any money but it was fun to be without the kids for the night! Congrats to Krenzlocks who took home the $!
Watching traffic!
Making nature collections!
Sunday was so warm! The girls played outside for the rest of the day. Jumping on trampolines and playing in the driveway. It was a perfect spring day and something we could all get used to! We ended the weekend at G&G Bergs for supper! It was a fast, fun and warm weekend! Here's to another week of Spring! Check in with us later! Love, The Lokkens
