Well back into the swing of things after break last week. I brought home a couple of big boxes for the girls to play in on Monday night, and of course they were more fun then what came in them.
Makyah pretended to be a doll in the package.
Cambree had a book stand, where all books were only 1 cent each. Mr. Crabs. Gary, Perry and Stitch were her biggest customers.
When it was time for bed, where do you think they slept? In the boxes of course! It was a little creepy to me, when I woke up in the morning and Cambree was sleeping flat on her back in this person sized box!!!
On Friday night the Lokken's hit the bowling alley for some pizza and thunder bowling. We had a lot of fun, Cambree dropped the ball and hid for about 10 minutes, Makyah learned to throw the right way, and I got a 163!
We even remembered to get a family photo, and yes people don't let Cal fool ya, he had fun too!
Makyah's doll, Samantha got a new bed this weekend. We have been looking for a doll bed and have not found one in our price range that we liked, so I made one. I found a wooden fruit crate for $2 at a thrift store, dismantled it, covered it and screwed it together. We added some wooden knobs to the bottom, made some bedding and ...wallah, a bed for $5! Who wouldn't want a hot pink and zebra bed?!
So it wasn't warm but it is getting there. On Sunday night after supper at G&G Bergs, the girls did a little roller skating! Now if we could only get rid of the winter coats!
Well that is about all that is up around here . Cambree may be starting T-ball this week, if they can find somewhere to practice without snow and Makyah has a dance program at the Kids Expo on Sunday! Stay tuned for pictures of both next week! Have a good one! Love, The Lokkens
