Halloween & NYC

Finally a Lokken update that will take us through the middle of November:)

 

Makyah entered the Halloween pumpkin carving contest at school again and made...

Draculora and she took 3rd place. (She was very excited)

 Cambree in the parade at school aka: Michelangelo!

 Makyah's last school Halloween parade:(  However she was a stunning "car hop" waitress!

 Cal, Luke & I went out to NY for a long weekend to surprise our friend, Nick who was turning 40.

We didn't really get to do a lot of what I wanted, but still had fun.

Cal and I drove out to NY almost 15 years ago, 2 weeks after we got married and we took our picture on the top of the twin towers...so we visited again, in a different way.

I couldn't find the picture of us at the top, but here is a picture I took of the towers.

 The girls had fun too, hanging with Grandma B, Carolyn and the cousins.

 

 

Following weekend, Makyah had her first dance competition of the season. 

Pics are kind of bad, but soo cute.

 

 

 Makyah's team took 5th out of 19 and the other danz kraze team took first:)

Well that takes us up to Thanksgiving.  We took a lot of pictures that day too, but they will have to wait until next time....whenever that is:)
