January Fun!

January has come and gone, but this is the fun we had...

 

We went ice skating for the first time, Cams was not feeling the best, and she got to see the ice close up quite a bit.

 

 Makyah's friend was at the rink, and she didn't want me around.

 

 

 

 Back in November the girls participated in a Reflections Art Program .  Their art was judged and they both received special recognition for their work, so they had a art show in January at school for everyone to see!

The theme was "Magical Moment"

Cams drew a snow globe with an image of her at Christmas when she received our dog Izzy!

 

 

 The second piece is something she did in art class.

 

 

Makyah's Magical Moment was represented by an earth with rare animals on it. 

She thought this would be her Magical Moment.

 We finally got to sometime to play with  fun Christmas presents. 

 Cams and I made some Tasty Science!

 

 

 Makyah had her second dance competition down by Milwaukee.  It was so much fun to hang out with friends and have some time together.  Her team did great and even took a first place in

"High Kick"!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 The girls also had fun in the hotel too, especially filling up the room hot tub!

 

 

We also had fun with our waiter on the way home in WI Dells!  Thanks for the fun JFK! 

 

 

 I was also lucky enough to spend the day with Makyah's class at the Ice Age Trail in New Auburn.  I thought it would be cold and miserable, but had lots of fun. 

We both held a snake...

 

 

 and went snow shoeing too!

 

 

 Cams also turned 7 and 1/2 on the 11th, along with Grandpa Dick turning 71!

First I told her she was not allowed to turn 7 and now she is 7 1/2, where is time going? 

 

 

 You got to love this girl, she sure is entertaining!

 

 

 Izzy has been laying around cuddling up, wherever she can fit!

 

 

Of course we counted down the days until our Disney Cruise! 

 

 And that takes us up until our vacation...we have downloaded all the pictures finally and will post them soon!
