Kyah & Cams: *** A Rising Star ***

Well the hot weather is here and I love, love, love it! (For now anyway). We finally got to plant some flowers this weekend on the deck. Of course the girls wanted to help. The end result... lots of pink of course. We had a busy Saturday as well. Makyah had her end of the year dance show. She performed a group pom and funk routine and then did her first solo! She was so brave and said she was not even nervous. Thanks Auntie Brook for helping with her routine! Last week she also had her spring sing at school. She had two speaking parts and was pretty proud of that. You can view one of them at the bottom of this page. She definitely is the quiet kid I thought she would be, she is so grown up and outgoing! This past Monday was also the end of the year girl scout event. We sold enough cookies this year to earn a party at Action City. We had a pizza and game party and thank goodness Cal came along, because it was girl crazy! Makyah will now be a Brownie if she decides to continue with Girl Scouts! After the busy week, Makyah wanted to get her hair cut with the hot weather coming, so both her and Cams got a chopping! I think it is as short as they both have ever had it. Not sure I was ready for that, but I guess it will grow back and they are both happy with it!
