Officially a Kindergartner!

Well it is true, Cams is officially a Kindergartner and she isn't even 5 yet! This past week she graduated from 4 K at Rachel's Place. Thanks to all the staff and her teachers there, it was a great year with lots of fun! I just can not believe that my baby is not a baby anymore. However this weekend she was wanting to try and spell words and coming up with letter sounds, so I guess she is ready, mom or not! She will go to Sam Davey next fall and can not wait to ride the bus with big sister Makyah! Her first day off, Friday she spent the day with mom running errands and delivering newsletters for work.
On Saturday the whole family decided to go biking. We took our bikes down to Phoenix park and hopped on the bike trail. We went past Owen park, stopped at Burrachos for lunch and hopped back on towards DQ. Of course we stopped for some ice cream and then headed back. It was starting to get hot, so they wanted to swim. It was lots of fun. So many people downtown it was fun to ride through the city. When we got back, Grandpa brought his boat down for a few days for us to use! (Yes ours is out of commission, whats new?) The girls went tubing forever! On Sunday we swam and tubed some more and had supper at G & G Bergs.
Monday brought the Memorial Day parade in the morning. The rest of the family came and the girls enjoyed showing Paisley the ropes on getting candy! Back to the Lokkens for the rest of the day. We enjoyed the nice weather and watching the boaters. The girls went tubing, AGAIN and daddy even skied! He still has it! Well that sums up the week. It was a great relaxing weekend and we had beautiful weather. Only 6 more days of school for Makyah! We will keep you posted on the happenings.... Love, The Lokkens
