Ok, so it has been a LONG time since we have had a post! We have started some a lot of remodeling projects around the house and it has taken over all else:( I think we are in over our heads!
However here is an update:)
Starting with Labor Day weekend!
We went boating with friends on Wissota and had so much fun!
It is always good to hang with the Grants and we had been trying to get together ALL summer!
We did a little more school shopping...all girls style, with cousin Paisley!
And then it was the first day of school!
I can not believe that Makyah and Cambree our SO big!
Some times it is hard for me to believe these two beautiful girls are mine...I am so lucky!

One of the projects around the house involves getting the kids their own rooms. Although we will be dry walling this room for Makyah in the spring along with new windows in the front of the house, we let her paint and move in anyway. We also painted Cambree's room along with ceilings, trim, washing carpets and touching up beds and dressers. Did I mention we did it all in a day and a half! We could not have done it without help from our families, and the girls are sooooo happy. Yes we let them help paint, and no it did not go quicker;) Final room pictures coming soon!

Here is a sneak peak and the demo downstairs. It has been a nightmare with what we have uncovered behind the walls. They walled over the cement with 3 different wall coverings, and Cal has had to chip the plaster off the brick inch by inch:(
Wonder what this is??? In the ceiling downstairs we uncovered a GIANT beehive that went from board to board. Remember when we had bees for 5 months a few Falls ago..this is where they were. No wonder it took so long for them to freeze out!
Poor Izzy has no idea what is going on in the house, or where to be. The room she use to sleep in is now Makyah's and we have to carry her to bed every night. Oh and she is in heat....I was misinformed when I was told I had a year before I had to fix her. Oh man!
This past weekend, both girls had a birthday party to go to!
Cams had her 2nd sleepover.

Well we will continue to break things up and try to put them back together around here. I hope to start a tab of the before and after pictures of the remodel....
well that is when I get back above the water!
