Makyah and Cambree have spent the last few weeks attending a summer school fun class. Cambree is taking a class all about "Dogs" and Makyah has been taking an art class. Makyah's teacher got the kids excited about chalk fest, so we went down town on Saturday to check it out!
The girls were both inspired...
Cambree's favorite drawing was the Mario and Bowser piece.
They were all amazing and it was fun to watch.
We also walked further downtown to check out the Summer Fest activities.
The girls went through the giant caterpillar...and Cambree got stepped on by him;)
We checked out the old cars and took a picture by daddy's favorite...a 73 corvette, of course!
As soon as we got home the girls and I decided to have our own, LOKKEN, chalk fest.
Makyah did a portrait of Izzy...
I made Perry, and Cambree tried to copy his pose...
I also made Max!
Makyah also made Minnie Mouse and
Annoying Orange! I thought she made it up, but no apparently it is a real cartoon???
Cambree drew an Angry Bird (of course)!
Mickey Mouse
and ....you guessed it, an arm with a plunger and a toilet!! I asked her where she came up with the idea, and she said, " I really used my imagination on that one"!
Yes Cams, you did!
Makyah's friend that moved stopped by and they all went swimming. It sure has been a good summer for swimming in the river and it is always good to hang out with good friends!
We also had our last day of tennis this week. Although watching for 2 hours straight was hard for me, the girls really seemed to enjoy it! Who knows, maybe future sister gold medalists???
Well some say Summer is over, and we like to think we have 3 weeks left:)
