So here is the 2nd part of our Summer update, and it should catch us up!
For the past 2 weeks, we have had swimming lessons. Makyah & Cambree are now in the same level...which Makyah does not enjoy, but it worked out really well for both of them:)
Here Cams is learning to dive.
Makyah is just trying to get use to the frigid pool:)
Our new neighbor Billy had an old pool slide and said we could have it...after some serious power washing ...it was like new. We hooked to the lower deck and wallah...lot of "cool" fun. (Which has come in handy with the record high upper 90 degrees we have had for over a week:)
We have spent lots of time in the water, and I even took a trip or two down the slide. I think it is the first time I have been in the river in several years...and it was so refreshing!
The girls rode their bikes (well Cams rode her electric scooter, "Betty") in the annual bike parade.
Despite the heat they made it around the neighborhood circle 3 times!
Before friends came on the 4th, we celebrated Cambree's upcoming birthday .
She was spoiled as always and got lots of great gifts!
Angry Birds was the theme, and we got lots of new bird stuff!
Of course we did a lot more swimming on the fourth as it was sooooo hot and still!
We enjoyed the company of lots of good friends and family and Makyah's friend spent the night!
We did sparklers and had our own little firework show put on by...Dad!
The last day of swimming lessons was on the 5th and....they both passed and were supper excited!
Level 4 here we come!

I can't believe my baby will be 7 this week, how time flies:(
