Well the Lokkens are continuing to have a fun summer. Cambree too is now officially 6 as of Monday. My baby girl was born 6 years ago at 7:05pm. She weighed 9 pounds 4 ounces and was 21 inches long. All I remember is she came, "FAST". We are so lucky to have her in our lives:)
For her Birthday on Monday I took the day off and we started with...
Birthday toast.
Followed by a day at the Fairfax pool. Her choice of supper...
one more small gift,
and of course a cupcake to end the day:)
Carolyn took the girls for a treat and Cambree's obsession for the week was... Knuffle bunny!
The girls also started a new session of swimming lessons. One week down, one to go!
On Friday, it was a rainy day so the girls and I went to Chaos water park with the Gallaghers. It was a great day and for the first hour there were less than 10 people swimming.![]()
On Saturday, Cal had to work and the girls and I hung around home. I went outside to see what they were up to and I could hear them but I couldn't see them..only to find they were...
in the tree! Hmm I didn't know dad aloud them to do that!
Saturday night we went to a double 40th birthday party and the girls stayed over night with Paisley at G & G Bergs. They had fun and so did we, it was nice to see old friends and catch up!
On Sunday as crazy as it sounds, we went to Valley Fair. 95 degrees and sunny! Good thing they had a water park because that is where we spent most of our time!
The girl rode all the rides and Cambree was just tall enough to ride the adult roller coasters as well. It really was a great day to go, we didn't wait for more than 5 minutes to get on the rides, and the kids rides we walked up to and got right on!
Cambree driving the old fashion cars!
KEEP YOUR HANDS ON THE WHEEL!
Thank goodness she is only 6 and not 16!
It was a perfect ending to a perfect week! Hello hot, we love summer's in Wisconsin!
Have a great week! Love, The Lokkens
