SNOW Much Fun In February!

Well yes I was looking forward to Monday.  I took the day off since the girls had no school and we were going to have a "girls" day...maybe go to the cites shopping at the Mall of America!  Well... then we got lots of snow AGAIN!  So we started the day just trying to shovel so we could get out somewhere! The girls had lots of fun playing in the snow. I started to shovel because Cal said the snow blower did not work...well that lasted about 1/2 hour until I could no longer rotate my shoulder. I decided never say never, and I hauled out the snow blower, and what do you know, I got that sucker working and blew out the entire driveway!  I even had to put gas in it!  I was pretty proud of myself, thinking I could totally handle a household by myself if I had to! (But then I would have to learn to cook!) We said we were going to have a "girls" day and so be it...we were going somewhere.  We finally got out of the driveway and headed to OCB to have lunch.  We then went on our way and headed to Action City.  It was a fun day !
Snow Angel
This is Cams heading out with her snowboard, doesn't she look just like a pro.  She also told me this week, that she doesn't like to smile....hmmm I wonder where she gets that from?!
Out for lunch at OCB!  Yes we ate a lot and of course had dessert!

First thing at Action City Cams wanted to climb the wall.  The man working was even amazed at how well the girls did as they almost touched the top many times!

Riding the fake roller coaster.  Cambree picked a haunted ride, and looked like she was scared to death:)

 Mini bowling of course!
And of course a game of Laser Tag!
We even hit the jackpot on a ticket machine, so we had enough tickets to get a small prize each!
The end of a perfect day...well almost despite all the snow!
The rest of the week went by so quickly.  The girls were off again on Tuesday and Aunt Carolyn played with them for the day.  On Friday Cal got sick and spent the rest of the weekend on the couch.  (You know how a little sniffle and a fever keeps them from doing anything).  I went to a wedding with some girls from work on Saturday night, and I promised to take the girls sledding on Sunday.  Well it wasn't the best day for sledding...a lot of face washes and spills but still a little fun:)

We ended the weekend with supper at G & G Bergs and had fun playing with cousins!  Well that about sums up the week.  I wish my Gram Marian the best of luck, as she has her last treatment (hopefully) this week!  We love you Gram M!  Have a great week!  Love, The Lokkens
