Thankful for Family!

What a fun and fast week.  The girls were so excited about Thanksgiving that Makyah didn't even want to go to dance because it was vacation.  On Wednesday I took the girls to work for a half day.  Cambree ended up not feeling well and falling asleep on the table, so we headed home for the day.  She quickly bounced back after Tylenol:)  On Thursday we normally have "no TV day" but made an exception for the Thanksgiving parade, which we all love to watch. Before, lunch we headed over to G & G Bergs for a great Thanksgiving meal.   We hit a second meal at Carolyn and Johns for supper and opened our ornaments for the year.  The girls get so excited to open ornaments that represented the past year.  Uncle Seth was home as well and we got in a game of Trivia, of course!  On Friday we went to get our tree.  It is tradition for us to go out to Pleasant Valley, see Santa, pick our tree and have popcorn and hot chocolate.  It was lots of fun and crazy when we got home and put it up with all the breakable ornaments the kids were whipping on!  Now all of the decorations are up and of course make the house beautiful and we are all definitely "in the spirit" for Christmas. The rest of the weekend consisted of cleaning, grocery shopping and laundry! Here are some of the things we are thankful for...
I am so thankful for Cambree's imagination.  Here she is hunting for ghosts!

Makyah is thankful for family, and her little blankie!

Cambree is thankful for family and turkey. (Although she told Makyah she doesn't like turkey:)
Putting the tree in the car, I realize I am so thankful for my husband and best friend Cal.  He cooks for us and loves to spend time with us girls!

Thankfule we saw Santa, although the girls and I think this one just might be a "helper"!

Thankful for getting taller!
Thankful for our $50 Christmas tree;)
Thankful Uncle Seth Came Home!
Thankful that Cal is so cute:) However still no smile!

Thankful for new ornaments!
I am thankful for Makyah's compassion and care for others.

Thankful for a little snow, to build a cute mini melting snowman!
Thankful for Christmas lights!
We are thankful for family, health, friends and our home!
Have a great week !  Love, The Lokkens
