Fall Fun with Family!

It definitely felt like fall this past week, and we are finally getting into the swing of it. Cambree is loving school and was "Queen" for a day in her class this week. She got to bring a few things that she likes and we filled out her "all about" sheet together! She brought a squishy animal, Mario and Luigi and her big elephant, who was already in bed in this picture. She said he had a big day ahead of him, so he had to go to bed early. On Friday I picked up Hudson, Maddon and Paisley from Londa's . Brook was out of town with friends, and Craig was working. They loved playing with their Auntie Lissa and Uncle Cal. I had to feed them though, and wow am I out of practice. First I tied them to the chair and then did my best. Sorry Brookie if the outfits were super messy, hopefully Craig washed them first!

Paisley was going to spend the night with us. First it was all fun and games. Movies, books and jumping on the bed...then it was time to go to sleep. No such luck. She didn't even want to lay down and she just repeated , "I want my mom to come get me" like a thousand times. Then I thought well I can handle this and I forced her to lay down and then the tears came. I can be so mean! We finally called home because we thought she better get to sleep or we would be in trouble. So G. Bonnie came and got her. I felt so bad, like maybe we should have tried harder, but we thought her own bed might help. Maybe next time, I guess she wasn't ready!

On Sunday the whole family went out for breakfast and then went out to the apple orchard. Cambree had her first carmeled apple and discovered how good they were. We bought some apples and caught a quick wagon ride through the orchard. It was chilly but fun. Happy Fall to all, I think it is definitely here for keeps! Have a great week! Love, The Lokkens
