Catching up with the Lokkens!

The Lokkens have been busy, busy, busy! Here is a quick update and lots of pictures of what we have been up to in the past few weeks... It was bring a friend day to dance class this past week and after much thought and consideration, Makyah wanted to have Cambree go with her. Here is a picture of Cams concentrating and doing twirls with Makyah! What a cute little round "butter" she has!

A sister is the very best friend you have right?

Cambree has been playing outside so much and often just falls asleep out of nowhere. Makyah and I thought she looked pretty cute drooling all over the chair!

Cambree had crazy hair day and this was as crazy as she was willing to get!

She also had a bowling field trip! After work I was able to meet up with her class at the bowling alley and snap a few pictures of her having fun with her classmates. The picture below is her with her best friend, "Brooke".

This is the way that Cambree bowls. She tends to roll all over the floor waiting for her pins to drop. On this day she had a score of 81, thanks to the help of the bumpers!

This past weekend, I had to work out at Beaver Creek for the date with dad event. Cal and the girls came along and we decided to stop at Big Falls on the way back since the girls had never seen it and we had not been there for about 10 years! It looked the same as I remember it and was as beautiful as ever. The girls thought it was soooo cool and loved climbing on the big rocks!

Paisley came over this past weekend to hang with the girls while her parents did some errands. I hardly knew she was around! They played outside while I continued to get ready for a thrift sale! (So ignore all the junk in the background!) This is their "cheese" scooter pose!

Makyah had her first slumber party sleepover a couple of weekends ago, so Cal made a special bon fire for Cambree on Friday night. She brought her blanket and stuffed animals and everything else in the house out to the fire as well. We roasted marshmallows (well kind of, Cambree doesn't like hers cooked) and invited Grandpa Dick and Wiggies!

Dad and Cams!

Grandpa Dick!

Makyah has lost yet another tooth. I am starting to wonder if she has many left? For school she just happened to be reading Junie B Toothless Wonder! We both thought it fit the day perfectly!

Makyah had her first big performance at the Kids Expo where she performed two different routines, pom and funk. She did a great job and had time to hang with her good friend Dara!

The girls had a few minutes to enjoy some of the other things at the kids expo, like all the inflatables. Then we were off to the baptism party!

Hudson and Madden were baptized and although it was sad we had to miss the service, we celebrated with family at the Bergs!

Makyah and Cambree convinced their dad to buy them giant $7 balloons at the kids expo! He says I spoil them, ha!

Makyah celebrated her friend Chloe's birthday and had her first slumber party! She was so excited and had lots of fun. No phone calls in the middle of the night and all smiles when I picked her up! I think friends are much cooler than hanging with the family! I am not ready to totally let her go yet!

Well that is the last two weeks in a nutshell! Talk to you again soon! Love, The Lokkens
