The "short" of it all!

Ok, so I know I said I was feeling better last week, but this week, I think I finally am. I went to the doctor Wednesday and was diagnosed with walking pneumonia! Yuck. I feel like I have smoked a pack of smokes a day for the last ten years! A little coughing but fever and headache is gone! Good thing because we are still waiting for those twins to arrive. Friday night we went out to eat with Craig, Brook and Paisley to try and keep poor Brookie's mind off pain. On the way home we stopped for a few quick haircuts for two cute girls. Makyah finally decided she was ready to chop her hair. She has been asking to wear her hair down more often and I said if looked less messy she could. We didn't give Cams a choice. Her hair was getting long and you might as well get them done at the same time. Makyah looks great and I think she is very happy with her shorter hair. Cams is always cute and happy with her hair if it involves less combing. I think we went a wee bit short with her hair, but it will grow fast. I never thought I wanted the girls to have anything but long hair, but girly hair is a lot of work and I am not very good at it.

On Saturday, the girls and I decided to venture out for lunch and a little bumming around. We hit the golden arches of course and then spent a little time at the mall. What a mad house! Makyah got a few bargains, Cams wanted no clothes. It is clear who the girly girl is in this house. Maybe it is because her and I spent so much time at the mall when she was little. Cams will definitely be a comfy cozy sporty type dresser. She did manage to squeeze a sponge bob beanie out of me though! Imagine that!
Sunday the girls spent a little time with Carolyn. My intention was to take care of myself and get my hair done, but spent the day cleaning weired things. It was like I was nesting. I am just getting ready for Brook's babies, I guess. A clean house feels good, but will have to repeat again next week I suppose. Well hoping for exciting news this week! We will keep ya posted!
