Kyah & Cams: February Flash!

Yes a posting finally with weeks worth of pictures. Wow how fast February goes! President day week we took a couple of days for some R&R in the Dells. We took the girls to The Wilderness hotel for some swimming. Makyah & Cambree both love to swim, although it took quite a bit of coaxing to get Cams to go down the water slides. A few bribes later and she loved them! It was a little busy at the hotel on Monday, but died down on Tuesday and Wednesday. We enjoyed mini golf, swimming, laser tag, arcade games and more! (Not the haunted hotel!) When we got back to town the girls got to meet Madden and Hudson. Makyah took her time before she was ready to hold the babies, but you know how she is, now she loves holding them. We also got a chance to make a snowman since the weather has warmed up, first one this season! This past week we watched a lot of Olympics and the girls and I made our own cakes out of play dough. We watched, "Cake Boss" for inspiration! Wednesday I spent a few hours with Cambree's class at the Children's Museum on her field trip! Definitely worth the few hours I had to take off of work to see how happy she was when I came. Not worth the $30 ticket I got parking in a loading zone. (The curb was snow covered and you could not see the yellow lines!) On Friday, Cambree got a chance to try our some curling with Cal. It took her a while just to be able to move the stone half way across the ice. She said she loved it and like to fall on her, "bum". It was fun to watch her bent over with her little but crack showing. Cal would be thrilled if one of them got into the sport. The rest of the weekend was just the girls and I. Cal was off at a curling tournament for the weekend. We watched movies, with popcorn, did a little shopping and of course some crafting. What else do girls do? Well I think that sums up the last few weeks. Here's to a warm March:) Yeah right, doesn't it always snow around basketball state time???
