Well what else can I say..... SUMMER VACATION! I can't believe I am done with Kindergarten and officially a first grader! It was the last day of Girl Scouts on Monday too. My mom finally remembered the camera to take a picture. Cams got to come too. We went to Hardee's on a field trip. On Thursday it was the last day of school and we had a carnival. Mom came to help and she took a picture of me and my teacher on her phone, but we didn't get it transfered to the computer yet. It was also my mom's birthday. Carolyn bought her an ice cream cake, so we decorated it with candles. We also went out to eat at her favorite restaurant, Olympic Flame. On Friday we went camping. It was so exciting because it was Cams and my first time. We went with Uncle Craig, Auntie Brook and Cousin Paisley. We all rode together and barley fit into the van. We went to Hayward and stopped at Wilderness Walk. We saw so many animals and even got to pet turtles, giant bunnies and goats. My favorite was the peacocks and Cams liked the giant bunny. They also had a old town with fun houses to go inside. I really liked the crooked house! We also got to look in fun mirrors and hang out in jail! We stayed for a picnic and then moved on to the campsite. When we got there we set up camp and took an hour long ride on a bicycle built for 7. Ok really only had room for 6, but we squeezed one more on. It was so fun. It was Cams favorite part. Even though it wasn't that warm, Cams and I went swimming a little too! That night we made supper over the fire and had s'mores too. We got to feed baby ducks the left over buns. Sleeping in the tent was fun. Cams and I were toasty warm in between mom and dad. Mom had a hard time sleeping with all the commotion in the campsite but we slept just fine. When we got up it was only thirty some degrees! BRRRRRR! We hung out very close to the fire. I chose to go under my blanket and hang out. We picked up quickly after breakfast and were on out way, but not before Paisley puked her guts out. I think she had to many "quackers". On Sunday I had more fun. It was my polish party. A few of my friends came over and Grandma and Mom polished our toes and nails. We made fancy flip flips and had chocolate milk and flip flop cookies. It was our way to kick off summer break, although it was so cold we partied inside. I hope it get's warm soon. Well I start gymanastics on Monday and I get to hang with Carolyn. I can't wait.
