Makyah Madness!
Ok, so I (Makyah) am writing the blog this week, because there wasn't much for Cams to say. On Monday I had a field trip for school to the children's museum. It was lots of fun and my mom got to come with. I enjoyed playing in the restaurant the most. I would like the theatre section, but I would rather not have so many parents and kids watching me. I always love the shadow room too. On Tuesday my mom had a meeting about Girl Scouts, I think it is finally going to start and I can't wait. On Wednesday I had dance of course and then on Thursday my mom and dad had parent teachers conferences. I got a good report of course. I am really into writing and learning to read at school and my teacher says she is impressed with my creativity and hard work. On Friday when I got home the water was off because there was a water main break on our road. The bad news, when they turned it back on the pressure was so high it blew a gasket thingy on out boiler or something and we had a flooded laundry room. Not fun and to top it off we have heat that has to due with the water, so we had no heat all night. Me, mom, dad and cams slept together to keep warm and it ended up it only got down to 60 in our house. My dad heated up the house the next day with a portable heater and the stove. So we managed at around 66 degrees until someone came to fix it. Good news is we have heat again! My poor mom had to do clean and dirty laundry as it all got wet! That is about all. My mom took a picture of me on my favorite blanket. It was a baby blanket and getting to small so she made it bigger, because it is the only blanket I will sleep with!
