Well it was a week of LOVE, of course at home, but also at school. This week I got to eat lunch with Cambree on Monday and Makyah on Tuesday!
I also got to spend a half hour in each classroom to see what they are learning! We got to measure volume in 2nd grade, and play a rhyming game in Kindergarten!
It was lots of fun! This week was also national heart week, so on Friday we went to the Sam Davey Family Fun Health Fair. We got to practice long jumps, learn about health and play dance, dance revolution! Cambree was especially interested in the 2 pair of real lungs they had on display. One was nice and pink and healthy and the other was a smokers lungs that was black and icky. She asked questions all the way home, and started to freak out a little about the smokers lungs. We tried to explain to her that as long as she doesn't ever smoke, she will not have to worry. Ha...worry is her second name, so if you ask her about it, she will say "don't talk about it again"! I think we may have prevented her from ever becoming a smoker!
We saw Mrs. Finder at the Health Fair too!
On Saturday Makyah went to play with a friend for a couple of hours, so Cams and I set up her bed tent. She got it when she was only 2 years old, but it had not been put up since. It was brand new to her, and Makyah and her quickly made a plan to both camp out in it!
On Sunday it was snowing again! We played for a while outside and then practiced our piano for Monday.
We had supper at G & G Bergs and shared our Disney Cruise video with family! It was a great ending to a lovely week! I feel so blessed to have such a loving and fun family to hang out with! Tomorrow... no school and we are having a "girls day" ! Stay Tuned to find out the fun we had! Have a good week! Drive safe! Love, The Lokkens
