Kyah & Cams: As Tough & Brave As They Come!

Well it was finally time! On Wednesday Cambree had her tonsils out. I can not believe how brave and tough this little girl is! She wasn't overly excited but she put on a brave face and was one tough little girl! The doctor said her tonsils were HUGE, so I feel like I made the right decision! I took her on my own since it would have been difficult for Cal to get out of work, and I must say I felt helpless and lonely to sit through the waiting by myself. There was some funny times though, when she was under the medication she told me in a drunk voice that she could see 2 Spongebobs and 2 Patricks. When we went home, Dad was waiting to cuddle and take a nap. Over the next few days, there was ups and downs. When she was medicated she was up and around, but when the meds wore off, she was very quiet. She fought any liquid and medication, so that has been very frustrating for me. The last few days however have been much better... a little food and much better on the liquids and med taking. I hope she is back to herself soon, so she can enjoy the rest of the summer. They both also finished tennis this week, so sports are over for the summer. On Saturday night we all enjoyed a family movie and went to Despicable Me. Very cute and fun to hang out as a family.
