Kyah & Cams: Rain,Planes & Birthday Pains!

Well it definitely was a loud week, but fun too! We spent the later part of the week watching the Blue Angels fly! On Friday afternoon Cambree, Cal and I went up by the airport to watch the jets practice. It was a beautiful day and we all got some much needed sunshine. Oh yeah and it was my Birthday too. A little painful this year as I approach the top of the hill. At least Cams thinks I am 21 and Makyah said, "your not old to me mom!" I guess I am over it! After all, I only feel 25!

(Well that is if my legs are not asleep and my back is not hurting!) Anyways, the girls really wanted to take me out to eat at my favorite restaurant, so we went to Olympic Flame for supper and had a little birthday cake! (Thanks Carolyn!) I even got a new fun mini video camera, so I can put videos on the blog! On Saturday, we decided to be troopers and head into the airport for the airshow.......Well that is when it started to rain, rain, and rain! Constant complaining forced us to leave early and finish watching the show at a friends house across from the airport! At least we could hide out in the garage! (But it was still cold after being soaked!) On Sunday after doing a months worth of laundry, we headed over to a friends workshop to watch the blue angels again! Fun to watch but enough plane watching to last for a while! The girls were tired of it as well. We finished off the night with dinner at G&G Bergs and called it a "weekend". Cambree is officially on summer break but celebrated her birthday early at Londa's today (Monday) and Makyah is excited for her last day tomorrow! Let the summer fun begin. As for ending, we are doing that too! We have to say good bye to the best day care provider ever! Londa we were so lucky to have had you help our children learn and grow for the past 7 years! We love you and feel lucky that we will still get to see you often! Love, The Lokkens
